History

McKinney Memorial Bible Church was organized on February 3, 1954, and named in honor of Dr. Samuel T. McKinney, retired minister, Bible teacher and president of Central American Mission. The congregation first met in the home of E. F. Eitelman, Sr. Then, in August 1958, the church moved to its first permanent building, located in the Wedgwood area of Fort Worth.

In December 1979, the congregation occupied a building at 3901 South Hulen Street. It then purchased the Student Ministries Building (SMB) in 1996 to house student ministries and relieve space in the main building.

In May of 1997, the congregation was able to obtain twenty acres across Hulen. Then, on July 13, 2003, it celebrated its first services at 4805 Arborlawn Drive. Students continue to meet in the Student Ministries Building, 4066 Kingsridge Road.

From a small beginning, and a few couples who had a vision, McKinney Memorial Bible Church ministers to hundreds of families throughout the Fort Worth area and reaches out to the world through active missions groups.
