We encourage each person at McKinney to look for ways to get involved in ministry outside the church walls. God gives each of us fantastic opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people right where we live, work, shop and play.

You could start simply by asking someone, "How can I pray for you today?"

There are some fantastic ministries in the Fort Worth area that are doing a tremendous job of serving our community and reaching people for Christ. While McKinney folks are serving with many good local ministries, as a church we have placed particular emphasis on partnering with 8 ministries that are reaching out to some of the more economically-disadvantaged segments of our community.

In partnering with them, we want to pray for them and help them financially, but beyond that we look to encourage folks to get involved personally by volunteering their time in that ministry. Ask anyone who has volunteered at one of these ministry partners - God is doing some amazing things! If you (and your small group or family) are looking for a place to serve, any one of these partners would be an excellent choice for you to consider.
