WEDNESDAY NIGHT ELECTIVES
McKinney offers electives on Wednesday nights usually during the early spring and again in the fall. The dates and classes for the next session have not been determined. Galloping Through Church History - Taught by Dr. Ken Horton and Dr. Nathan Holsteen - An overview of the growth and struggles of the church as it passes important milestones through the years. See how God's grace prevails in periods of folly and fruitful expansion. Cost: $15.00 (includes book and workbook).
Becoming a Contagious Christian - Taught by Lance Linnartz - Learn to have spiritual conversations. Share your faith utilizing three stories: asking questions to discover another's story, sharing your story, and sharing God's story - the Gospel. We'll discuss how you can naturally bring up spiritual topics with neighbors, co-workers, and your children. This will be a practical and enjoyable resource to helping others grow spiritually. Indivisible - A Marriage Strengthener - Taught by David and Danielle Shaffer - Whether engaged or seasoned, struggling or strong, Indivisible is a program for you at any stage of your marriage. Through teachings, laughter and discussion, you will learn how to strengthen your relationship and better support each other. Join other couples as you and your spouse celebrate your uniqueness, while drawing closer to the Lord and one another. Cost: $10.00 (includes workbook).
Understanding the Old Testament - Taught by Chris Freeland - Think the Old Testament is impossible to understand? This six-week study will help you piece together the story of the Bible as it unfolds from the very beginning. You'll be able to read each book of the Old Testament with more confidence, understanding what each piece contributes to the biblical story of Jesus as well as how it applies to your life today.
