This is at the very heart of McKinney. We enjoy our time on Sunday mornings when we come together to worship as a body, to participate in God's revelation of Himself through music and His Word.

The Worship/Music Ministry pages on our web site will be a source of information and tools for you. From time to time, we will share personal thoughts from those involved in the worship leadership team. We hope to equip and challenge you to worship God in spirit and in truth!

The Worship and Arts Ministry of McKinney exists to:

1. Facilitate the body of MMBC in corporate worship each week.
We are a band-driven worship team that uses relevant and contemporary means to lead our body in true Biblical worship each week. From solid teaching to uplifting music, our desire is to use many expressions of worship to bring glory and honor to the living Lord.

2. Offer a place of service for those gifted in music and the arts.
Our desire is to offer a place where people with clear gifting in music and arts can use their gifts in worship and ministry. We regularly need gifted people to serve in this ministry through instrumental, vocal, technical and dramatic arts.

3. Teach worship to our congregation through several venues.
One of our main goals is to help teach our people to become true worshipers of God. Our desire is to lead by example, to model the life of a worshiper, and to encourage them express their gratitude to God for what He has done for them through living lives of obedience in worship.

4. Use the arts to reach our community for Christ.
Although Sundays are our main times of ministering with the arts, our desire is to take various teams out into the community to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

5. Exalt God in all we do.
We are more than musicians and artists at MMBC. If you are looking for a place to "play", we may not be the church for you. If you are looking for a place to exalt God through your gifts and talents, if you are looking to serve God by leading His people in true worship each week, if you are looking to reach others for Christ with the arts, we may have a place for you today.
