ABOUT THE VISION
This mission is about a deeper level of service AND relationships. This team will serve for three days together at Victory Temple, and also meet together on the four Sundays leading up to the mission. So we’re trusting the Lord to grow some community within our team. But we’re also looking to forge some relationships with the men and women at Victory Temple as we serve alongside them.
ABOUT VICTORY TEMPLE
Victory Temple Ministries of Fort Worth is a ministry especially geared to work with the drug addict, the alcoholic, the criminally-minded and the rejects of society. It was started by Gerald Salomon, himself a former heroin addict. They have both a men’s home and a women’s home which offer a free six-month recovery program that incorporates a Christ-centered discipline of prayer, worship and serving. They also have several drop-in centers, a thriving neighborhood church, as well as daughter ministries in Dallas and Mexico.
