About East Asia

The place where this team will serve is located in the 10/40 window.  There is a rich and diverse cultural history but the spiritual needs are tremendous.  The people who live here have been in bondage for many years to false religions, tradition, and oppressive political systems.  In recent years, however, God has been doing some amazing things in this part of the world.  Many, many people are responding to the Good News and despite the challenges the believers here are believing the Lord to help their country become a World Missionary Sending Base in the not-too-distant future. 

About the Mission

Bear in mind that we are going to a place that is closed to missionaries.  Most of our efforts will be aimed at meeting and conversing with college students who are looking for opportunities to practice their English skills with native speakers.  Some of them will have never even met an American.  Many also will have never even heard an explanation of the Good News, much less heard the name of Jesus.  As we interact with them we will be looking for opportunities to dialogue with them about where they might be on their spiritual journey.

Additionally we hope to have the chance to minister among orphans and other outcasts.
