Sherri's Story:
I grew up in a loving, Christian home and accepted Christ when I was nine years old. The only thing unusual about my childhood was that my Mom had a very aggressive type of MS. As her disease progressed, so did my anger and rebellion. As a teenager, I made many horrific choices (pretty much daring God to forget about me) that could have cost me my life. But, in His mercy, He stayed in the pit with me and brought me out. I recommitted my life to Him as a young adult after the death of my precious Mom. I learned later how many of my Mom's friends had been praying for me!

Though the Lord has wiped out all of my sin, He allows me to remember just how far away I was when He brought me back to Himself. Those memories alone remind me daily of how grateful I am that He is my Lord and Savior and how desperately I need Him in my life. He continues to teach me, stretch me, encourage me, and challenge me through the good days and the hard days as I know He will until my last day here on this earth!
