Billy's Story:
I was born in Louisiana and raised in a home where the truths of God’s Word were communicated on a consistent basis. These truths caused me to ask questions about my place in this world and who is this God who made all these guidelines. Because of the influence of my parents and the prompting of the Holy Spirit in my life, at age seven I accepted Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection as payment for my sins and trusted Him to be the Lord of my life.

The more I read the Bible, the more I wanted to know about God. The more I learned about God, the deeper my relationship with Him grew. My relationship with Jesus Christ is the most rewarding, challenging, and joyful thing I have ever experienced. Through High School and College there were two key things that encouraged my walk with Christ. One was the influence of faithful men of God who poured into my life. The other was my involvement with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. God has orchestrated all the good, bad, difficult and easy events in my life in such a way that has made me fall even deeper in love with Him. God is good.
